A Cup Every Day...

Neither coffee nor tea has been a part of my life all these days.

Coffee or Tea has never been a part of my life until recently.  Am usually a "Health Drink" person. Not that I was so conscious, I was made to drink by my mom. ;) A home made health drink with all the goodness of Almonds, nuts, Wheat flour, millets etc.. My day begins with a  glass of "Kanji" (thats my native word for a health drink). I have never been a fan of Tea or coffee during my childhood days. Just after I got admitted into college, my mom started giving me tea knowing that I can't expect a home made drink.
My grandpa in his childhood days was advised by Kanchi Shankarachariar, that drinking either tea or coffee is a sin. From that day, he refrained himself from having both and also made sure his lineage also followed that. So in my house, dad me and my sis are the "Complan kids". But unfortunately in this time, once you step outside home for a living coffee and tea become inevitable. You can expect

But now after quitting my job and moving far away from home I have the entire day to myself. After packing of my better half to his office and finish the petty chores all I need is an energy boost. So this tea is my rescue. My morning 10 o'clock tea time is entirely "Me time". It's a bliss.  There is a prefect couch just by the window side and looks across the front road. I turn on the music and relax with a cup. Just couch there or watch tv or read an article or paper
